I got a Tikkun Token by a stranger. She was very sweet and encouraged me to keep being kind and helping the community. It really touched me. I came online and read more about what these tokens are and it really touched my heart. I want to pass it on and acknowledge wonderful strangers that have a kind heart. I hope to pass on hope, appreciation and love. Thank you for what you do! Thank you for encouraging people to be the best they can be ♥️

I am not sure why I received a token, but a coworker of mine left one in my office mailbox. At the time, I was working in a female prison, as the primary caseworker on our special needs unit, which is for individuals not currently able to manage being in general population, typically due to symptoms associated with a chronic mental illness. Now while I can't say for sure why I received it, maybe they recognized how much I put into my work and also how stressful and taxing it can be at times. Finding the Tikkun Token in my mailbox defiantly lifted my spirits that day and any time I pull it out of my desk, because it reminds me of why I'm in social worker. It also made me feel good that, hopefully, I am making a difference in the lives of others, if a bystander recognized the effort and sincerity I put into work every day.
I put in an order for some tokens and look forward to carrying them with me and passing them out to others. Thank you for starting this project, it is defiantly making an impact and difference! ~ A Smiling Social Worker in Indiana I delivered care packs to the Brookside Homeless Shelter.
