It was the day before Lockdown in Germany. I went to an awesome but tiny concept store to get Christmas cards and little things for my daughter. I love that little shop and wanted to spend my money especially there since everything was closing down for several weeks. As I was paying the owner and I talked about gratitude and privilege in times of a global pandemic. I mentioned a phrase I once heard: "We're all so full we think we're empty". The shop owner looked at me and thanked me for this short sentence, saying it says it all. As I paid she repeated: this sentence changed her day in a positive way because if talking about freedom and fairness in a global crisis - nothing else has to be said. The sentence says it all. So she took one of your tokens out of a bag and thanked me once again. I was very touched by this conversation and I love the idea of bonding through positive actions.
The shop owner explained the rules. I will pass this token to somebody who impacts me. I promise. Thank you for this project - it definitely lit up my day
