Was just a little thing I guess, but the guy saw it as enough reason.
He was a single man serving a late night (early morning ) rush, by himself at a subway, and being the last in line, my friend and I waited patiently.
We both knew exactly how it felt to be a single crew versus a small crowd, so when I turn came up, we joked, and helped relieve a touch of the stress on the man working by himself behind the counter. When we got to the register, I offered to give him a tip on card, since I had no cash on me at the moment, but, sadly, the store didn't allow that exchange, so I sadly could give him anything for the wonderful attitude he held through out the entire time. Instead... he gave me a token.
Time to pay it forward.
